The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has recorded another milestone in innovation and technological development, following the emergence of its team as First Position in the Inter-Agency Category of an innovation competition.

The Agency secured the top position with its innovative project, “Tactical Deep Surveillance Wearable Jacket,” earning a cash prize of Seventy Million Naira Only.

The award by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) was presented to NASRDA in recognition of the project’s potential to advance tactical surveillance and strengthen indigenous technological capabilities.

The Tactical Deep Surveillance Wearable Jacket is designed as an innovative wearable technology platform for enhanced surveillance capabilities, demonstrating the potential of locally developed solutions to support Nigeria’s strategic and security needs.

The seventy million naira award is expected to provide further impetus for the development and advancement of the winning innovation, while encouraging more researchers and innovators within the Agency to pursue solutions capable of addressing emerging national challenges.
