Dr. Adetoro Moshood Lanre is dedicated to architecting innovative systems that drive impact and sustainable development. He leads the development of homegrown technology solutions, advancing Nigeria’s research and development in innovative technologies, while fostering partnerships to empower a community of innovators in space research and technology ventures. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Centre for Space Innovation and Development at NASRDA (National Space Research and Development Agency). In this role, he manages a portfolio of technology programs that harness diverse sources of creativity and innovation within the Agency and throughout the country.
Previously, Dr. Adetoro has held various lead roles in space research programs, including positions at Nigcomsat Nigeria Ltd, Engineering and Space Systems of NASRDA, and the Centre for Space Transport and Propulsion in Lagos. He recently served as the founding Director of the Advanced Space Composite Laboratory at the University of Ilorin. Additionally, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Aerospace Department at Lagos State University’s Epecampus and a faculty member of the Institute of Space Science and Engineering at the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja.
Outside of his government responsibilities, Dr. Adetoro is a board member of Embedded Systems and Emerging Technology of Nigeria Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE) and a founding council member of the Chartered Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers of Nigeria(CIEEN), focusing on embedded systems and emerging technology
