Haj. Saudatu Sani Aminu

Haj. Saudatu Sani Aminu is the current Director of the Administration Department at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA). An astute administrator with over two decades of service, she has been instrumental in restoring sound administrative principles that promote equity and fair treatment for all staff, to align with established procedures and global best practice.

She began her career in the Federal Civil Service in August 2004 under NASRDA and was first appointed as Head of Administration at the Agency’s Centre for Geodesy and Geodynamics CGG-Toro in Bauchi State as Assistant Chief Administration before been transferred to Zonal Advanced Space Technology Application Laboratory ZASTAL in Kano in 2012. Before her current position, she had served the Agency in various capacities, such as Head of Administration and Finance at CGG Toro; she served for eleven years as Deputy Director of Administration at the Zonal Advanced Space Technology Application Laboratory ZASTAL in Kano. In January, 2024, she was elevated to the rank of Director in the Agency and subsequently she was appointed Director of Administration at NASRDA Headquarters Abuja.

Haj. Aminu holds M.Sc. in Public Policy & Administration, M.Sc. in Banking & Finance, and a B.Sc. in Political Science. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators, a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN),  a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). She had attended several trainings, seminars and workshops both local and international among which includes: RIPA-UK Effective People’s Management, RIPA-UK Prince 2^TM Project Management and the Administration Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON). Her leadership is guided by the principles of equity, fairness, and justice in line with public service rules, the scheme of service and extant rules.
