The Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has reaffirmed the Agency’s readiness to collaborate with key players across Nigeria’s space ecosystem to deliver innovative solutions for national development.
Dr. Adepoju stated this during a courtesy visit and facility tour of the Defence Space Administration (DSA) Headquarters in Abuja.
He emphasized the critical role that space technology plays in modern human society, saying NASRDA is committed to working with relevant sectors to strengthen and regulate Nigeria’s space industry for the growth and development of the nation.
The NASRDA Boss said, as part of its strategic efforts to promote the development of space technology in Africa, the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) will work with the Defense Space Administration (DSA) in areas of data sharing, data center integration, and ICT infrastructure to store data securely for mutual benefits.
In his remarks, the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Oluwatoyin, expressed appreciation for NASRDA’s ongoing support and past collaborative efforts.
He emphasized the need for both NASRDA and DSA to encourage strong working relationships to maximize the benefits of space technology for Nigerians.
Air Vice Marshal Oluwatoyin noted that the Defence Space Administration is committed to utilizing all that Nigeria’s space sector has to offer, for the greater good of the nation.
