Mr. Onwusulu Andrew Uzondu is the Coordinator, Zonal Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi state, under the National Space Research and Development Agency, Abuja, with over 28 years of experience in space applications. He started his career as a scientific Officer at the National Centre for Remote Sensing, Jos, and has worked in different capacities: Manager, Digital Image Processing Laboratory, 2004 – 2006, HOU Water Resources & Climate Unit, 2010 – December 2016, Resource person for many capacity-building trainings. He has participated in several National research projects of NCRS/NASRDA. As the Coordinator of a Zonal laboratory, he has developed, supervised, and organized many regional research and space applications promotion seminars and workshops.
He has attended several short courses, workshops, and seminars and has made numerous research paper presentations nationally and internationally. He holds a BSc. Geology and Mining from the University of Jos, PGD in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System and Applications, and International PGD in Groundwater Exploration, Water Resources Exploitation and Conservation from African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education at OAU Ile Ife and Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rehoboth Israel.
