The Director General and Chief Executive, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has said that collaboration with international organisations is a vital service to the motherland that drives national development.

He made this statement while receiving a delegation from the Solina Center for International Development and Research, on a courtesy visit at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

According to him, strategic collaboration with such organisations fosters the exchange of knowledge essential for building a stronger ecosystem that supports national growth and aligns with global best practices.

Dr. Adepoju further highlighted some of the Agency’s collaborations with major international partners, which have contributed to key national and regional projects, adding that these engagements have strengthened the Agency’s capacity to deliver impactful solutions and support across various sectors.

The NASRDA boss, while commending Solina for its credibility and good work, assured the team of the Agency’s readiness to explore opportunities for collaboration and to share knowledge on ongoing initiatives and programmes.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Solina Center for International Development and Research, Dr. Uchenna Igbokwe, commended the Director General’s leadership style, which he said was evident in the professionalism and courtesy of the staff.

He explained that Solina has been engaging with the Agency from afar and that the organisation’s aim is to reach the most vulnerable populations in health and education through the use of GIS for tracking and other technologies.

He added that partnership with the Agency is strategic and mutually beneficial, with the potential to drive innovation and development.
