The Satellite Mission and Ground Station Management Department at NASRDA is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Nigeria’s satellites and ground station infrastructure. Ground Station Management: Maintains and upgrades ground-based infrastructure for satellite tracking, data reception, and communication.
Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C): Oversees real-time tracking and command execution for satellite operations.
Data Acquisition & Processing: Collects and processes satellite imagery and geospatial data for research and national applications.
Satellite Health Monitoring: Ensures the continuous functionality and stability of satellites through diagnostics and maintenance.
Mission Planning & Coordination: Designs operational strategies for upcoming satellite launches and collaborations with international space agencies.
