In line with his vision to transform Nigeria’s innovation landscape through impactful research and practical solutions, the Director General and Chief Executive of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to establishing Disruptive Skills Acquisition Centres across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
He made this known during a strategic meeting with a delegation from Lognetics Limited and Netics AI, at the NASRDA Headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Adepoju said the initiative is part of NASRDA’s broader strategy to empower Nigerian youths through advanced training in software development and emerging technologies, with the ultimate goal of proffering homegrown solutions to the myriad of socio-economic challenges facing the nation.
The NASRDA boss commended the visiting team for their remarkable achievements in software development and Artificial Intelligence (AI), describing them as worthy ambassadors of the country, particularly in the area innovation.
He said NASRDA under his leadership places high priority on result-oriented collaborations and strategic partnerships capable of driving sustainable transformation across critical sectors.
According to him, the Agency’s approach is simple but effective as it aims to engage meaningfully, collaborate strategically, and deliver measurable results that make a difference in people’s lives.
In his presentation, the Chief Executive Officer of Lognetics Limited and Netics AI, Engr. Light Ihesiulo, who expressed appreciation for the warm reception said, the Agency remains a strategic partner in Nigeria’s science, technology, and innovation ecosystem.
Engr Ihesiulo noted that Lognetics envisions a future where every organization can harness the power of cutting-edge software and strategic branding to deliver exceptional user experiences and achieve sustainable growth.
According to him, the firm’s mandate is to integrate creativity, technical expertise, and strategic foresight to build scalable, user-friendly, and future-ready digital products.
Engr. Ihesiulo explained that Netics AI provides comprehensive, AI-driven solutions designed to support daily tasks, enhance personal wellness, and aid decision-making through a highly interactive mobile app and an upcoming AI humanoid project.
