The Director General and Chief Executive, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Matthew Adepoju, has reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to identifying and engaging strategic partners, describing such collaborations as vital ingredients for success and relevance in Nigeria’s evolving space and technology ecosystem.
He made this declaration during the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NASRDA and CYBERDOME INKAS A&D Solutions Ltd at the Agency’s Headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Adepoju emphasized that one of NASRDA’s key missions is to seek out and work with strategic partners in ways that will bring tangible benefits to all stakeholders, particularly the Nigerian people.
He revealed that the Agency is actively mapping out strategies to develop a robust marketing platform that will ensure products and innovations are not only created but reach the relevant public.
Dr Adepoju explained that remaining relevant in the space and technology ecosystem, there must be engagement in initiatives that reflect innovation and practicality .
Speaking on behalf of the joint technical committee, the Director of NASRDA’s Advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Laboratory, AUAVL, Engr. Dr. Akachukwu Chichebe, described the partnership as a symbiotic relationship between the Agency and INKAS Solutions, a key technical partner of Cyberdome.
He praised the commitment of both organizations and their legal teams, who have worked diligently to finalize both a Non-Disclosure Agreement and the MoU.
Also speaking at the event, Managing Director of Cyberdome, Dr. Chioma Iwuagwu, who highlighted the company’s dedication to delivering holistic and technical solutions that align with the goals of Government and private institutions.
She expressed optimism that the collaboration with NASRDA would yield significant and positive outcomes which will enhance national development.
She noted that INKAS is a renowned strategic partner of Cyberdome and has been instrumental in numerous successful engagements across both the public and private sectors.
In his remarks, the Managing Director of INKAS A&D Solutions, Mr. Ilan Zaltsman, stated that the company specializes in the design and manufacture of UAV tailored to client specifications.
He said the company is ready to work closely with NASRDA and are fully committed to the terms and conditions outlined in the MoU.
A parcel of land within NASRDA campus was given by the Agency for INKAS Solutions to build a laboratory, with a directive by the DG that development should commence within six months.
