The National Space Council under the chairmanship of the President and Commander-in-Chief, Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the National Space Research and Development Agency Staff Regulations and Conditions of Service.
The decision was taken today at the National Space Council Meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Council also approved the Development and Operationalization of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Space Center for Transport and Propulsion, Epe in Lagos State.
The Council immediately set up a Working Group to revise the 25-Year Roadmap for the Nigerian Space Program for the successful implementation of Nigerian Space Policy as currently being anchored by NASRDA.
Membership of the Working Group are drawn from the National Space Research and Development Agency, NCC, NFMC, NBC, DSA, NigComSat, NSA, and three distinguished space scientists and engineers.
